Support a Local Project
Invest directly in your local environment and the well-being of the local community
There are many ways you and your business can support the work of Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust, supporting a local project is just one of them.
Working with your local Wildlife Trust can be great for your business. We have many exciting projects and works taking place across the county, and through sponsorship your company can contribute to their success. This can help your company build it's brand while showing your customers, partners, employees and the general public your commitment to the local community and wildlife.
Supporting our conservation work is simple - you can sponsor a specific project or give to our general work - which ever way you choose to support us will be gratefully received and make a real difference to helping us protect wildlife for the future.
For more information on how your company can sponsor a local project or to consider other ways to develop your partnership with Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust please contact our Fundraising Officer, Sarah Mee, on 01727 858901 ext 242 or email sarah.mee@hmwt.org to discuss your involvement.
Case Studies
Network Rail
Corporate supporters, Network Rail, have kindly awarded funds to one of our grassland conservation projects in the county. The £5,000 project aims to restore seven ecologically rich grassland habitats in Hertfordshire and Middlesex: providing significant opportunities for threatened wild flowers, butterflies and other invertebrates to survive and flourish. We will be managing work on a number of our grassland reserves, from Aldbury Nowers NR to King's Meads NR. By engaging and training volunteers to help deiver practical conservation work, we can deliver considerable imporvements to biodiversity in Hertfordshire. Network Rail is a great advocate of our vision to provide an environment rich in wildlife for everyone - with this project fulfilling their own objective to 'protect or restore the natural environment'. We look forward to the great results of this important project, and to developing future partnerships with Newtwork Rail.
