Will for Wildlife Week

A Wildlife Trust initiative held each year across the UK to raise awareness of the importance of legacy gifts to help protect local wildlife for future generations

Bluebell WoodDuring 'Will for Wildlife Week', 19th - 26th October 2009, Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust (HMWT) is highlighting the importance of making or updating a Will – not only to look after loved ones, but also to help protect the UK’s natural heritage for future generations to enjoy.

Legacies form an important part of our charitable income and help provide valuable support to our work. To find out more, please visit our Legacy page.

HMWT have partnered with local solicitors who will be providing their Will Writing or Amendment Services at discounted rates to our members and supporters throughout October.

While we cannot recommend a solicitor, if you are interested in leaving a legacy to the Wildlife Trust and would like to discuss your options, we can put you in touch with the solicitors in your area who are supporting Will for Wildlife Week - please download our list of participating solicitors.

BBC 3 Counties breakfast show host, Stephen Rhodes, recently visited Danemead Nature Reserve to talk about Will For Wildlife Week.
