A gift to Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust, whether you choose to make a donation to honour the memory of a loved one or to mark a special occasion in their life such as a Birthday or Anniversary, is a touching way to help wildlife flourish and commemorate something important to you and your family. You could even make it a regular gift, to remind you each year of something or someone close to your heart.
Gifts made to the Trust in this way form an important contribution to our charitable income and have already helped us provide protection for local wildlife and the places that are so special to so many people throughout their lives. To find out more, please visit our Legacy page.
In lieu of flowers
Traditionally, we pay our respect to our departed loved ones through a gift
of flowers. However, cut flowers only last a matter of days whilst a gift of wildflowers will continue to blossom year after year, allowing a loved ones memory to live on through nature forever.
By giving a donation to Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust in lieu of flowers you will help us protect wildlife and wild places, such as orchids in summer meadows and bluebells in ancient woodlands, for future generations to enjoy.
To make a donation
We are incredibly grateful to friends and families that decide to honour their loved ones in this way, and will acknowledge each and every gift made to the Trust. We will also provide you with an acknowledgement card to notify family and friends that you have made a d
onation instead of giving flowers, and will enter your loved one’s name into our Book of Remembrance, which is kept in the Trust’s office.
If you would like to make a donation to Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust in memory of a friend or relative please speak to your Funeral Director about arranging a collection. Alternatively, please download our leaflet In Lieu of Flowers for more information and complete the donation form on the back.
