Whether you choose to make a donation to honour the memory of a loved one or to mark a special occasion in your life such as a Birthday, Anniversary or other celebration, an in memory donation to Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust (HMWT) is a touching way to help wildlife flourish and commemorate something important to your and your family. You could even make a regular gift to remind you each year of something or someone close to your heart.
In lieu of flowers
Traditionally, we pay our respect to our departed loved ones through a gift of flowers. But instead of cut flowers, why not a meadow of wildflowers which continue to bloom year on year. By donating to HMWT in lieu of flowers you will help protect our native flowers, orchids in summer meadows and English bluebells in ancient woodlands, for years to come.
Acknowledgements
We are incredibly grateful to friends and families that decide to honour their special memories in this way. We will acknowledge your kind support and also provide an acknowledgement card to notify family and friends that you have made a donation instead of giving flowers for example. Your loved one’s name will also be entered into our Book of Remembrance, which is kept in the Trust’s office, as well as featured in our membership magazine Wildlife Matters.
