Long Deans Meadow Restoration Appeal

Please help us protect and improve our grassland sites, and care for wildflower meadows for future generations to love and enjoy

Long Deans Nature Reserve

Our meadow habitats are at risk

Long Deans Nature Reserve, a picturesque valley of pasture and old parkland trees near Nash Mills, is particularly important for its birds, bats, wildflowers, butterflies and other invertebrates.

This site is incredibly popular amongst the local community – you may yourself use it to walk your dog, enjoy time with your family or to simply clear your head.

However, without habitat restoration and maintenance work this reserve, and other sites like it, will not continue to be the species rich habitat they are now.

We need your help!
