Reserves Administration Assistant

Salary: £19,716 - £23,206 FTE (SCP 18-23) pro-rata plus 7% pension

Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire

Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust is a local charity supported by people who care about protecting wildlife. Our vision is of a Living Landscape, where we work with others to improve our towns and countryside for wildlife. We work with volunteers to manage a network of more than 40 nature reserves, covering nearly 2,000 acres.

We are recruiting for a part-time (15 hours per week) Reserves Administration Assistant to support the Reserves Team. The new post will help to ensure the smooth running of the Trust’s nature reserves through producing and maintaining good records, registers and checks in relation to Health & Safety, land management grants, livestock, volunteers, contractors and vehicles.

We’re looking for someone who has excellent communication skills and the ability to work on their own initiative and be adaptable. We’re looking for experience of administrative processes, with great attention to detail, together with an interest in what we do. The successful candidate will be fully conversant with MS office systems (Excel/Word).

The deadline for applications is 9am on Monday 25th September 2017.
