Conservation management plans
These are valuable tools in land management, identifying realistic objectives and helping to map their implementation through prescribed actions. Costed plans can also aid budget development and the sourcing of appropriate funding.
Flora and fauna surveys
Ecological surveys can help to establish the extent and range of biodiversity present on a site. We have worked at a variety of sites, from small gardens to Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs) and have skills in a full range of surveying methods - including informing on the presence of protected species.
Biodiversity Action Planning
Designed to fit into county and national Biodiversity Action Plans (BAPs), these documents are increasingly in demand from local authorities, large companies and major landholders. If you need to produce a Biodiversity Action Plan, we can help you.
Practical conservation works
With 40 years of experience, we can advise on, or help with, a wide range of practical works. Recent work includes restoring gravel islands for water birds (English Nature), enhancing the nature conservation and historical interest at ancient monuments (English Heritage) and restoring heathland for local authorities.
