About the event

Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust are delighted to be working in partnership with Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary to offer this hedgehog event.

Learn about hedgehog rescue and rehabilitation along with the problems facing hedgehogs and why they’re in decline.  Find out about basic hedgehog care and handling and receive practical advice about how to help hedgehogs in your garden.

See where they are being nursed back to health before being released.  You may catch a glimpse of a hog but they are not active in the day and are likely to be curled up asleep.

This workshop is aimed at adults only.

Please note these are special organised events/visits and Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary is not open to the general public. Please be aware that the map shown above is not accurate, and that you cannot reach Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary by public transport.

Proceeds from this event will be split between the Trust and Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary.
