Wilder St Albans: Wilder Working Groups

We have set up three community working groups each covering a broad habitat type: water (wetlands and open water), trees (woodlands, street trees and hedgerows) and meadows (grasslands and heathlands). 

Our themed working groups meet to discuss and set a series of priority actions that will increase biodiversity across our District and form the basis of a ‘Wilder St Albans Action Plan’, due to be published in February 2022.

These working groups are open to all interested stakeholder organisations, groups and individuals from the local community, so if you would like to get involved please contact Heidi Carruthers for more information.
