About the event

This community forest between Bedford and Milton Keynes was born nearly 30 years ago and is still growing in size and diversity. Meeting at the Forest Centre, we will explore the wide range of habitats at the Wetlands Nature Reserve, such as the reedbeds, sand martin bank, callow mounds (butterflies) and the wind turbine (a walk of around two miles). We can then explore Stewartby Lake or another part of the Forest.

The ranger will be giving a short introduction to Millennium County Park for a donation of £10. A small contribution to this would be gratefully appreciated.

Entry to the nature reserve is £2.50 for adults and £1.75 for concessions.
The rest of the park is free to access.

Car parking charges apply- £1 for up to 1hr, £2 for up to 3 hrs and £3 for over 3 hours

Suggested donation

This event is free to book. However, as a registered charity, any donations are greatly appreciated. We suggest a donation of £3 for members and £5 for non-members to cover our administration costs.
