Canoeing
What a great way to see the river. Such a unique experience.
Canoeing the Stort is a wonderful way to spend a day. The waters are calm and you can take your time paddling down stream.
You can stick to the main navigation (canal) or if you are feeling adventurous you can take a wander down a back loop.
You cannot hire canoes in the area but you can try it out at the Saturday morning club at the Harlow Outdoors centre and if you get the bug you can build up to owning your own.
