This group has been running for almost a year. As it is fairly new there are lots of fresh ideas and exciting new projects. With a long history linked to the site, this group of volunteers are very dedicated and keen to preserve this beautiful patch of land. They are self-run and very welcoming. Sawbridgeworth Marsh - Essex Wildlife Trust
The current volunteer warden has been involved with the site since the early 1990s. Since then the group has strengthened and become self-sufficient and very committed. They meet regularly on Sundays and in the summer months they meet during the week as well. Rushy Mead - Essex Wildlife Trust

The Wednesday Volunteers
This group was set up in May 2009 and has met on every Wednesday since. They are an independent group that works on various sites in the South East region of Hertfordshire.
