Wildlife Site owner network

Could you benefit from being in touch with other Wildlife Site owners?

We are looking at the possibility of creating a network of Wildlife Site owners. The network would be a way of sharing information, tips and getting help with managing sites by sharing tools, machinery and grazing animals, where this is beneficial for owners.

We want to bring together enthusiastic people who are keen to do their bit for wildlife on their land but who may not have the resources, knowledge or experience to get started. By creating this shared pool of resources we can do more for our local wildlife than the Wildlife Trust can alone.

For example, a Wildlife Site in need of grazing may be linked with a landowner in need of more land for their grazing livestock.

This idea is at the very early stage so there are many details to be defined, but our first step is to find out whether there is the interest within Hertfordshire for the initiative.

If this is something you think could benefit you, let us know.

  • Please note we will not share any of your details without your express permission, either now or in the future. Providing your contact details simply allows us to match you with your Wildlife Site if you are unsure of the name/reference number.
