Colne Valley Practical Conservation Volunteer

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help carry out practical habitat work on nature reserves in the Colne Valley. Tasks will vary from coppicing and scrub bashing to clearing paths and cutting meadows.

No experience necessary just plenty of enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in!
When: All year round but especially in winter months. Where: Throughout the Colne Valley.

Colne Valley Events Volunteer

Volunteers are needed to help out at events during the summer months as well as with guided walks and other activities throughout the year. If you have a passion for wildlife and like talking to people we could use your help.

No experience necessary just plenty of enthusiasm!
When: Generally summer months but as and when throughout the year. Where: Throughout the Colne Valley.

Colne Valley Volunteer Surveyor

We are looking for people to carry out species surveys in the Colne Valley.

No experience is needed as training in how to survey a number of species including bats and wildfowl will be provided.
When: Dependent on the species. Where: Throughout the Colne Valley.
