Active Challenge sponsorships

Active ChallengersActive Challengers

We’re recruiting a team of passionate challengers who want to make an active difference to our local wildlife

You can pledge to take part in a sponsored event and turn your sponsorship into a long-term contribution to wildlife. Choose from one of the many local sporting events in Hertfordshire – or why not organise your own?

Follow these three easy steps…

  1. Choose an event
  2. Raise your fundraising target
  3. Protect local wildlife

Remember to set up your JustGiving page!  Find us at www.justgiving.com/hertsandmiddlesexwildlifetrust

Participate in an organised fundraising event

You may like to take part in a fundraising event organised by a third party (such as a marathon or fun run) where you can choose to raise money for Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust through sponsored participation in the event. Book your place and let us know so we can support your efforts.

Organise your own fundraising event

Don’t fancy taking part in an organised event? Then why not organise your own? We’ll give you all the support you need, from sponsorship forms to collection buckets, just get in touch.

You might be bursting with enthusiasm and have an event already planned in your mind, or you might want to help raise funds but have no idea of how to go about it – either way we can help you!

Here are some ideas for you to get started:
• Bingo
• Bake sale
• Car boot sale
• Charity stand at a village fete or other local event

“We’re walking for wildlife!”

"We love exploring wild places and watching great wildlife, so we hope to combine the two during our three-day hike. As a keen birder, I can’t imagine life without birds and their habitats. I’m organising a birdwatching walk later in the year to raise money to safeguard their future”. John BristowPhoto of John Bristow

“I’m cycling for wildlife!”

“I love being out and about on my bike. Cycling for charity just makes sense to me – it’s something I love doing anyway, so why not raise some money for a great cause at the same time.” Rob Hopkins
