Cassiobury Park LNR,
On the A412 Watford to Rickmansworth road, Watford, Hertfordshire , WD18 7LG
About the event
Join us for a photography workshop in the beautiful surroundings of Cassiobury Park, and celebrate the glorious colours and wonders of nature this autumn.
Whether you’re using a camera or simply your phone, this beginner-friendly walk is a great opportunity to learn the basics of photography and composition. You don’t need to be a professional – just bring your curiosity, imagination and enthusiasm for the natural world!
Led by one of our talented volunteers, we’ll explore the park’s autumnal scenery, from colourful leaves and striking trees to fungi growing on leaves and dead wood. Along the way, you’ll pick up tips and tricks for capturing interesting photographs of nature, learn to notice the little details around you, and discover how to make the most of autumn’s changing colours.
This workshop is suitable for adults, no previous photography experience is needed.
Please bring your own device so you can practise taking photographs during the walk.
The walk is mostly well paved surfaces but walking boots are recommended as there are some muddy, slippery and uneven surfaces.
There is a café where you can stop for a refreshment after the walk. Toilets are also available at the Hub/café building,
This event is weather dependent and may need to be cancelled at short notice.
