About the event
Join Sarah Perry, River Catchment Coordinator at Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust, who be introducing us to the Living Rivers of Hertfordshire. Our county is home to one of the rarest environments on earth; learn about its fascinating origins, special wildlife and how people are working together across Hertfordshire and beyond to protect chalk rivers from the threats they face.
Aimed at adults but all ages welcome!

This event is part of the very first Herts Rivers Week - a celebration of our globally rare and beautiful chalk rivers. Through a series of walks, talks, and family-friendly events, you can learn about the wildlife chalk rivers support, the challenges they face, and simple ways you can help to protect them.
