Important to note:
We will only consider applications from contractors who meet the following requirements. 
•    Contractor must have proven, relevant experience of delivering environmental improvements to river / wetland habitats in the UK, preferably south and east England.
•    Contractor must hold (in date at time of application/works) Public Liability Insurance, Employer Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance (on any projects which require Principle Design activities under CDM Regulations 2015) to a minimum value of £5,000,000m. Insurance must cover construction activities on/near water. 
•    We will require the successful contractor to co-sign a Contractors All Risk (CAR) policy on appointment for the project.
•    Contractors must provide all information and details requested in the Invitation to Tender document (pdf) for their application to be scored and considered for delivery of the project.

This project is funded by the Government's Species Survival Fund. The fund was developed by Defra and its Arm's-Length Bodies. It is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with Natural England and the Environment Agency.
