What is Philanthropy?
A philanthropic gift is a donation that will make direct and transformational impact for our work in Hertfordshire and Middlesex. There are different ways for philanthropic donors to support Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust and create lasting conservation impact.
Every philanthropic gift we receive plays a crucial role in the future of our counties. So far, our philanthropists have helped us protect crucial habitats and species, and restore vast areas of land, and safeguard the health and livelihoods of people in Hertfordshire and Middlesex.
Our commitment to you
Major donors are individuals who make a gift of £5,000 and above. The major donors are our highest level of donor who will receive a more bespoke experience and a dedicated account management and benefits scheme. You will communicate directly with the Philanthropy Manager who will arrange phone calls/in person meetings/visit to reserves. This will offer an opportunity to really get to know what your passions are, what motivates you to give, and if you’re interested in funding particular projects.
When you make a significant gift, you will receive regular and bespoke updates, so you know how your money is invested and how it helps generate conservation results. We look forward to partnering with you to help create a wilder future for local wildlife.

Can I donate to a specific project?
If you are interested in donating towards a specific project or reserve, you can speak to our Philanthropy manager to directly support our project work with a high-impact gift of more than £10,000.
