Puddingstone Distillery

Puddingstone is a local distillery based in Tring and the producers of multi-award-winning Campfire Gin. Ben and Kate, the owners of the distillery are true believers in connecting with the spirit of the outdoors and preserving wildlife in Hertfordshire.

The distillery has been partnering with Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust since 2017 with their launch of the world’s first Himalayan balsam gin – raising awareness of the conservation work needed to address this invasive, non-native species.

In 2021, we came together again to produce Ultrasonic gin. Inspired by the flight of native bats through the British countryside, this bold gin uses a unique ultrasonic process and pot distillation to extract flavour and aroma from local hedgerow plants including elderflower, along with Bramley apple and mint.

When we founded Puddingstone Distillery, our aim was to produce a gin of exceptional and inspirational nature, created with a mindfulness of community and environment, with an aspiration to invigorate consumers senses, lead them on adventures near and far, discover simple pleasures and connect with kindred spirits. It is these same values that we see reflected in the ethos and work of HMWT, values that continue to make working with them such a great pleasure and indeed an unavoidable consequence of two organisations striving for like goals.
