Wilder School Description
Tell your school and local community that you are a Wilder School – the following description is designed to help you do that and can be used on your school website and in other communications.
We are proud to be part of Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust’s Wilder School programme. As a Wilder School, we recognise that our school grounds help to provide connected wildlife corridors and safe habitats across our landscapes. Being a Wilder School also provides an opportunity for our young people to build a connection to nature and learn outside of the classroom.
You can also see our Wilder Schools launch press release for more information that might be useful here.
Press Release Template
The following template can be used to send to local media to announce your Wilder School status and to share the news of the actions you are taking. Bring the story to life by sending photographs of the projects you are undertaking and/or students taking part (with the consent of parents/guardians) along with it.
You can find the press release template here.
