About the event
The 2019 Festival of Wildlife, in association with Herts Natural History Society, will once again take place in Tarmac's beautiful Panshanger Park, near Hertford.
The Festival, kindly hosted by Tarmac, will celebrate the rich diversity of wildlife in Hertfordshire and Middlesex.
The event is free of charge and offers guided walks and expert talks by the Trust and Hertfordshire Natural History Society, as well as a whole host of drop-in activities.

Headline Sponsor - Tarmac
Park owners, Tarmac, are the headline sponsor of Festival of Wildlife. Tarmac have owned the park since the 1980s and now that extraction on site has come to an end, Tarmac are working with the Trust and other stakeholders to open the park as a country park and nature reserve. 2019 will be Tarmac's 4th year as headline sponsor of the Festival of Wildlife.
Associate Sponsor - Maydencroft
Groundwork contractors Maydencroft have worked with the Trust numerous times over the years on nature reserve projects. In February 2019, Maydencroft were appointed by Tarmac to help with the day-to-day running of Panshanger Park.
