About the event

Explore this closed nature reserve at night with an expert. 

After a short introduction of bat ecology, take a short walk to find bats along the tree line and hunting over the water, using bat detectors to hear their echolocation.

This event is free to attend. However, as a registered charity, any donations are greatly appreciated. We suggest a donation of £3 per person for members and £5 for non-members to cover our administration costs.

Note: this reservoir has steep sides and around 100 steps up to the edge of the reservoir.

Affinity Water are working in partnership with the Trust to conserve and enhance their sites for wildlife and so that they are valued, used and enjoyed by their respective local communities.
