About the event

Meet a volunteer from Herts and Middlesex Badger Group in Tewin Orchard to learn about the fascinating life of badgers. Then head down to the hide as it gets dark to spend time watching the badgers foraging, grooming and playing!  You may also catch a glimpse of other creatures such as foxes, mice, deer and bats.

For everyone who has never seen a badger!  Suitable for ages 7 and over  - please be aware badger watching requires sitting still and quietly, and it will be a late night.

£10 per adult
£5 per child (under 16)

Children must be accompanied by a paying adult

Additional booking information

Badger watching requires some patience and sitting still and quiet is essential. Children aged 7 and over are welcome but please be aware they will need to be able to sit quietly so as not to disturb the nocturnal wildlife and ensure everyone enjoys the experience.

Please note that there are no toilet facilities at the hide.

Refunds given up to 7 days in advance of the events - after this time, regrettably we cannot offer refunds.

Proceeds from this event will be split between the Trust and Herts and Middlesex Badger Group.
