About the event

King's Meads is a rich wetland, and provides an important over-wintering location for many incredible wetland and wading birds. However, it is not as well known as nearby Rye Meads or Amwell. Over the autumn and winter months, take the opportunity to watch various duck, gull and other wetland birds as the sun sets in the company of a Wildlife Trust guide.

Pochard, gadwall, tufted duck, shovelers and others can all be seen at various points over winter. We'll be viewing them from various locations, using viewpoints created by Wildlife Trust volunteers.  It is a short event, suitable for all levels. Wrap up warm, bring binoculars and take in the spectacle!

Suitable for adults and older children.
