About the event

Learn how to identify trees in their winter state.  Spend the morning in the classroom, learning to identify trees using bud and twig characteristics. We will work through the various keys available and practice on a collection of cuttings. In the afternoon, take a three mile walk around Hertford Heath Nature Reserve to identify the trees found here and in the nearby Balls Wood.

Suitable for beginners.
