Discover Archer's Green

The clear waters of the River Mimram, reflecting the dappled sunlight and revealing the pebble strewn river bed below the surface. Its banks are lush with green vegetation and to the right a tree hangs over the water.

About the event

Come and join us for a walk at Archer's Green. We will take a walk around the nature reserve to discover what makes it so special and how we are planning to conserve this into the future. We will walk through the site to identify some key wildflowers and invertebrates which call this nature reserve their home and how the Trust's management will improve these habitats. We will also take in the beauty of the River Mimram, talking about the international importance of chalk streams. If we are lucky we may even see a Kingfisher and Southern Marsh Orchids!

This walk is aimed at adults but children over 12 welcome.

Please be aware this walk will be over uneven and potentially muddy ground.

This event is weather dependent and may need to be cancelled at short notice
