To celebrate Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trusts Rivers Week, Hertford Castle are hosting their very own Rivers Day!

Keep the children entertained this May Half Term with this free event at Hertford Castle!

Come along on Tuesday 26th May from 1pm to 3pm to learn more about the river, take part in river-themed crafts, and grab a bag of free duck food!

Herts Rivers Week 2026 is a county-wide celebration of our chalk rivers through events and activities for all ages. It is also a call to action designed to help people understand the value of chalk rivers - and the role we all play in protecting them.
