About the event

Step into the beauty of Whippendell Wood and enjoy a peaceful guided walk through this stunning SSSI woodland. Led by our knowledgeable Reserves Officer, Sam, you’ll discover the more about the wildlife and plant life that call this special place home.

Along the way, Sam will share fascinating insights into how the woodland is carefully managed and protected.

Whether you’re a nature lover or simply looking for a relaxing way to spend a spring morning, this is the perfect opportunity to unwind, explore, and reconnect with the outdoors.

The walk will be approximately 1 hour and may cover muddy and uneven ground, with exposed tree routes. Please make sure you have appropriate footwear and layers.
