About the event

Join us at Cassiobury Park for an evening stroll to find out about the bats that call the park home. There will be bat detectors on hand to convert the ultrasound signals,  so we can "hear" the bats as they hunt for their insect prey! 

The walk may cover muddy or uneven ground.

Suitable for adults, families and children ages 8 plus.

This event is weather dependent and may need to be cancelled at short notice. Please be aware we cannot guarantee you will see or hear bats.

Watford Borough Council is working in partnership with Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust to improve the value of Cassiobury Park LNR and Whippendell Wood SSSI for wildlife and people.
