About the event

This webinar will focus on one of our most important native trees, the ash. It will discuss the biology and botany of the ash; its historic economic significance; its place within culture and superstition; and the threats it now faces from climate change, ash die-back and the emerald ash borer.

This webinar will be led by Andy Holtham, Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust volunteer, tree enthusiast and the author of a Winter Guide to the Common Trees of Hertfordshire.
