About the event

Get out into nature this summer and join us for a volunteering work session for 18-30 year olds.

In this session, you'll be meadow raking at our Long Deans Nature Reserve. A picturesque valley of pasture and old parkland near Hemel Hempstead, with flower-rich grassland that is home to magnificent Oak, Beech, Ash and Wild Cherry trees.

A chance to get outside, meet others with an interest in nature and learn new skills.

Appropriate clothing and suitable study footwear (closed toed, not made of canvas) are required. Tools will be provided.

This event is session to attend. However, as a registered charity, any donations are greatly appreciated.

Additional booking information

This event is weather dependent and may need to be postponed at short notice, if particularly bad weather is forecast.
