About the event
Join us for an introduction to some of the dragonflies and damselflies of Amwell Nature reserve. The reserve forms part of the Lee Valley, which connects the site with other nature reserves and habitats along the River Lee, providing a wildlife corridor stretching from Hertford to the Thames, creating a Living Landscape.
Suitable for adults.
Please note there are no toilets available at the reserve. The walk will have some gentle gradients.
This event is part of the very first Herts Rivers Week - a celebration of our globally rare and beautiful chalk rivers. Through a series of walks, talks, and family-friendly events, you can learn about the wildlife chalk rivers support, the challenges they face, and simple ways you can help to protect them.
