Join us for a dawn chorus walk through the spectacular Whippendell Wood, an ancient woodland on the edge of Watford.

About the event
Take an early morning walk with our Reserves Officer around Whippendell Wood Site of Special Site of Scientific Interest and take in the dawn chorus.
The walk will be approximately 2 hours and may cover muddy and uneven ground. Please make sure you have appropriate footwear and layers.
This event is weather dependent and may need to be cancelled at short notice.
Watford Borough Council is working in partnership with Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust to improve the value of Cassiobury Park LNR and Whippendell Wood SSSI for wildlife and people.
