About the event

Join us for a magical evening at Stocker's Lake Nature Reserve as we delve into the fascinating and wonderfully bizarre world of bats!

Guided by our People and Wildlife Officer, you’ll explore the reserve as darkness falls. We hope to see incredible Pipistrelles and Daubenton’s bats and learn how to identify them using a bat detector

🌙 What to Expect:

  • Learn how to use bat detectors and how to use them to identify different species of bats.
  • A relaxed, friendly walk through nature.
  • Fun and educational for both adults and children.

Suitable for children aged 8 and up. Under 18s must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.

⏱️ Duration: Approximately 1.5–2 hours
 

Note: This event is weather dependent and may be cancelled at short notice if conditions are unsuitable for bat spotting.
